I purchased the Stage 8 locking headers bolt set because I kept blowing header exhaust gaskets after installing my BBK shortys on my 1987 Mustang GT Foxbody. I went through 2 new gaskets within weeks of installing. I would torque down after a few heat up cycles, the crap bolts would still loosen up enough to ruin the gasket. So I purchased the Stage 8’s and problem solved. Install was easy. It’s been a few months and everything is holding up perfectly! I wish I would’ve got these bad boys to begin with and avoided all the headaches of replacing header gaskets. I heard about you guys from various forums with people having a similar issue.
