Meet Stage 8 Pro Team Members Mike and Kathy Newell from Valrico, Florida:
We have a 2021 Newmar Ventana 4369 with 4 slide outs. The slide out motors have to be inspected at least annually to check for proper torque. Typically, the 3 of the 4 bolts are loose. Failure to have bolts tightened to specifications can result in motor failure and your slide room is stuck either in or out until it can be repaired.
One of our motors to be inspected is under the bed. To get to it, you have to remove the 64” long underbed drawer, the 54” drawer slides, and the corresponding trim to finally get to the particle board flooring that also has to be lifted to inspect the motor. Whew!
To avoid ever again having to disassemble the bed, we installed Stage 8 Locking Fasteners on the underbed slide out motor. Installation wasn’t difficult except for the pause in the project to find one of the clips that sprung loose due to operator error. 😁
Thank you Stage 8 for peace of mind and A LOT less work moving down the road!
